Projects
Below are current and past animation shorts/projects in which I have
consulted/produced/mentored on, along with a small team of Animation
Professionals and Students/Mentees/Interns for several clients.
Please note: Most have been listed as unpublished or have not been premiered.
"A Patch for Pam" (Unpublished)
2016-Present
(An Edutainment Social Justice Animation Trailer/Short)-This project depicts one young girl’s personal experience with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. in which he helps her stage a “sit-in” along with her Pastor/Civil Rights Leader and father to become the first Black American Brownie (a precursor to a Girl Scout) in 1950’s
Connecticut.
The animation trailer is currently being animated and once completed, will be pitched to Non-profits organizations to the Girl Scouts of America, Greater Sacramento Urban League as well as educational institutions such as McClatchy and Sheldon High Schools (in the Sacramento area) to receive grant funding to have the animation produced (on Toon Boom Harmony) by local high school art/animation students. They will be mentored by myself and other Animation Professionals.
The overall goal is to produce the animation short to be streamed on streaming networks and in all schools on both MLK Day and Black History Month so the next generations can get to know Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.!

I provided a grant proposal for a local SMAC grants funding competition and won a $250 grant to fund the services of my videographer/editor to complete the music video.
The students had so much fun producing the beat box music with an Instructional Aide who was a DJ, the acting they did and provided the inspiration for the visual development of this music video!
